"Take care..."

PHYSIOTHERAPY
Anyway, today was my last physiotherapy session.
Indeed, my heart was extremely heavy when i left that place.
Felt like crying.
The therapy itself was a very rigourous one.
My shirt was drenched with sweat.
But first time Pauline praised for how i execute the exercise.
"Oldbird" mahh.. more experience. Haha! 9 months already okay!!

Pauline: Okay, Fatin, you are discharged. Take care horr..

And yeah, Bambang too who was shocked that today was my last session.

Their last few words with me was to take care and keep training my leg.
Indeed, I will.
I will take good care of my leg. I wouldn't wish to go for another operation anymore.
Just so you know, both of my legs have undergone an operation. Which explains why there are obvious hideous scars on my leg.

STORY TIME

Let me talk about my experience for physiotherapy so far.

Initially, last year, I was posted to CGH to attend physiotherapy sessions. But i was turned off by it. I wasn't motivated at all. I hated therapy sessions there, always postponing the session.
Later, Dad transfered me to SGH. After the operation, I am suppose to attend 6 month at the rehabilitation centre to strengthen my operated leg. I was reluctant to attend therapy sessions. Until I met them, Pauline and Bambang, I looked forward to every sessions. They are the reason why I'm determined to keep pushing on, although I was a tough ride. From a skinny limb to a muscular one now. I vividly remembered that once, the gym bike i ride, couldn't switch on because of my weak leg that couldn't operate it.

So let me talk about the ones that drives me.

Pauline,
honestly, she wasn't the physiotherapist that was assigned to me. But apparently, that physiotherapist that was first assigned to me was gone. Don't seem to see her after my very first session. So Pauline took over and became my therapist. Well, at first she seemed very fierce. And often was afraid of her when she gets angry when I did not do my homework-exercising. Usually, I get afraid when she puts her hands on her hips. Well, just imagine. She's a very caring and encouraging therapists who cracks up jokes to make therapy sessions lively. She is the one who kept pushing me to go further, driving me to what I am now. Better than before.

Bambang,
he is the assistant therapist. He was the linient one, always giving "discount" to tough sessions. But Pauline always found out and said: Bambang, you are too nice to them! Cannot!
Haha! He is the one closer to me than Pauline i guess, cos Pauline has alot of other patients to take care of. While Bambang assists the others. Infact, he is like a brother to me. Ensuring my fullest welfare and always ready behind my back, just incase i fall (during the fisrt 3 months). He never fails to give motivational words after every physiotherapy sessions and also, advice on how I could improve the exercising skills (Cos one of the days, I was really pancit, I couldn't get up after doing the adomen exercise). He never fails to make me smile widely.

They are both loved and missed.
I didn't get anything for them. Not a card, or cookies.
I didn't get to take a photo with them. Not at all.
But I did get an experience to meet the most wonderful physiotherapist i ever met.
They would always be etched in my heart.
Thank you Pauline & Bambang.

Caged up happiness

Happiness? Where are you?
Waking up, repeating the same old routine.
Seeing the same old faces.
With nothing to look forward to.
"Argghh.. school.."
Then I wonder why school have been such a burden. Something I don't look forward to.

I need MOTIVATION please.
Can somebody just say "Hey, you are going great. Keep up the good work."
Or just make my smile last for one whole day.
Or be the reason why I look forward to school?
Ohwell... this is life. What am i pleading about?
Feels like a caged up happiness.

Moti-moti, I need alot of motivation!

Cikgu said Libras are happy-go-lucky and cheerful bunch of people.
I agree. But it looks like I don't seem to seem show the traits for the pass few months.

SOMEBODY BRING ME BACK TO LIFE!

Oh no. Headache.
Somebody call 995! Problems burning in the otak. Ohh-ohh.

They are loved.

Thursday 10 September 09
was well spent with my kampong friends - Amirah, Shikin, Suhaimi, Izzat, Guoyan, Yiling and Ken .

It just felt like the problems were fading away.
(Except the fact that I still have alot of homework undone)
Oh-oh, I FINALLY completed my GP Essay. Pheww..

So anyway, I love the conversations with them. Most of em' are very interesting and funny. It's pretty lame and sometimes not related. But it's these small little things that makes us bond together. As we laugh at each other sillyness.

Amirah: *seats at the front of the bus*
Ken: Why seat infront?? Seat behind lah!
Amirah: *gives Ken the look*
Ken: Ah beng don't seat infront one!!

We were all seating by the shore while waiting for someone who is late. And so Shikin out of randomness asked,

Shikin: How long do you think it takes to reclaim the land?
Fatin: Hmmm 5 years maybe?
Suhaimi: No.. more!
Shikin: How long exactly?
Suhaimi: 5 years and 3 months.
Shikin and Fatin: -.-

As soon Izzat reached, we went to rent bike. $6 for two hours! It's cool man!
Then Shikin's bike was making weird sounds. She was definitely unhappy and was disturbed by it.

Shikin: Izzat, nak tukar basikal dengan aku? (Izzat, wanna change bike with me?)
Izzat: Kenape dengan basikal kau? (What's wrong with your bike?)
Shikin: Kau dengar betul betul. Bising kan?(You hear properly. Noisy right?)
Izzat: Ohhh.. macam orang nye jugak. (Ohh.. like the person itself)
Shikin: Woii!! Kurang ajar betul.

Cycled to Lagoon Food Centre and break fast there.
We ordered 30 satay sticks of mixture beef, lamb and chicken.
We then couldn't differentiate between lamb and beef. And Amirah went smelling each stick like some dog (oops :x) . HAHAHA! Shikin couldn't eat lamb because of the distinct smell she dislike.

Shikin: I think to be safe, i eat chicken only.
Izzat: Why don't want to eat lamb? Ohh.. or you scared you turn into.....

Hahaha, go figure out what he wants to say.

Went off at 8.30pm with me asking,
Fatin: What would happen to us in 2 years time?
Suhaimi: I will be GRADUATING !!!
Izzat: Serving the country.
Suhaimi: Haha! Talk like a true soldier.
Shikin: Yup, and Fatin would be in university.
Fatin: InsyaAllah.
Shikin: Amin.
Fatin: Do you think we would stil be the same? Like together?
Amirah: I think we will. Even now I am surprised we are still close together.
Fatin: Yeah, I hope.

Well, I hope we could hang together for a longer time. You know, talk crap like we used to at Mama shops. Lepak during breaks, talking about random stuff and frightening me with something I shouldn't mention here. Gossiping about others and just relax and tease one another without being offended.
I miss those days.
Seriously.

Please make me smile for once

I survived
3 hours of Mathematics & 2 hours of General Paper.
And had a headache at the end of the day.

Joined the SC for the cleaning of SC room. SC room never looked so cleaned before.
Then someone gave me a love letter. Ehem.
Read on the journey home.
Was touched & almost teared.
Part of the letter says:
"The problems in life are the obstacles we face. It can either make you stronger and bring you down. It's a choice you gotta make for yourself."
And was signed off with hugs and kisses, by Aziwazee(go figure out)

It's a small note kept in a small envelope. But it brings a huge meaning, and a huge impact.
Thanks my friend :D I'll always keep that in mind.

Another day in school. Another day of a heavy heart. Another day of endurance.
But my mind was filled with something else. Something that was suppose to lighten my heavy heart. Oh well...

My heart was confused and heavy. But there's only one thing causing everything to occur. And this heart of mine is still confused if i should let it go. Thanks to Amilah who kinda eased abit of my dilemma. It's true. I am naive.

On the brighter side of life,
wait, where is it?
Oh well... There's a video I want to share with you guys. Kinda addicted to it.
It's Taylor Swift - You belong with me.
It's a very touching song made into a story. To me, it's the best music video so far.
Hmms, and Kevan gave me video of it XD

Cos' I believe in this saying:
Everything happens, happens for a reason

I'm just looking forward to tomorrow. Where I hope I can enjoy the laughters and crapping with the 7 other crappers- Amirah, Shikin, Khairin, Izzat, Guo Yan, Suhaimi and Ken.

Biodex Assessment & Appt with Prof

I got something to tell the whole world, and that is:
I PASSED MY PHYSIOTHERAPY TEST-Biodex Assessment WITH FLYING COLOURS!!!
And OFFICIALLY discharged from rehabilitation classes and also from consultations with Professor Paul Chang.

Fascinated by the moving boxes on the ceiling @ SGH

While Nur Amirah Bte Senin was worrying about her appointment with her dentist,
I was worried over my appointment with my physiotherapist and the doctor.

Was pretty early for the test today.
Pauline was on leave. So, her colleague took over. Bambang was surprised to see me. I guess he wasn't informed...

After 10mins of cycling and stretches, Pauline's colleague(let's call her Alpha) called upon me to get onto the CHOPPING BOARD. *gasp*

Oh well, it's basically a machine with a seat and something that is meant for the leg, so that it can test our strengthening and endurance when we kick that thing. Oh well, go figure out.

So, Bambang was the one who took the test for me. Hahaha, and kinda first time talked to him in pure malay. Usually, it would be a mixture.

Alpha: Ready to take the test?
Fatin: Uhhh.. I think so? What if i fail?
Alpha: If you fail, you go back to the class lorr...
Fatin: *I think it wld be good if I fail. HAHAS!*
Fatin: Ohhh... Huh..
.
.
.
Bambang: *clicks on the computer to weigh my leg*
Computer: 11
Fatin: Eh, wah, my leg 11kg eh?
Bambang: Huh? No lahh.. 11 Newton Metre. If 11kg, die lah. 2 legs already 22kg. Haha!
Fatin: Oooohhh *mental calculation of Nm to kg (I didn't manage to get anyway..)*

Okay, so my leg weighs 1.12kg. Light yeah?
Wonder where the other 40kg comes from.

So the results were printed.
SURPRISINGLY, my operated leg is WAAAAYYY stronger than my healthy leg.
That explains why my left leg is bigger than my right. HAHA!
&& i see less red results as compared to the test on 3rd month.
Alpha and Bambang was definitely pleased with the results.

Alpha: Hmmm... good good. *Flips flips* Infact, your leg now is stronger than before you had your operation. Alright then, *smiles at me* . You are discharged.
Fatin: Dis... discharged?
Alpha: Yeah. You don't have to come back for the ACL Classes anymore.
Fatin: Ohh.. okay... Umm... Can i have one last session?
Alpha: One last session? Okay.. with Pauline?
Fatin: Yes please! *as i beamed from ear to ear*
Walked out from the Gymnasium with WIIIDDDDEEE smile XD

Then...
Cashier: Okay, that would be $32.50
Fatin: thirty-two fifty?!? So expensive?!?
Cashier: Oh yeah. Cos you had the Biodex Assessment right?
Fatin: Oh yeah.. *Alamak.. heartpain*

Later went to meet my doctor, Prof Paul Chang.
(I'm proud to have a doctor who is a professor. HAHAHA! Okay, enough.)

P. Chang: So how's your leg?
Fatin: I guess it's good? I had my test just now. The therapist said it's good.
P. Chang: I see. *checks the leg* It looks good. Doesn't hurt right?
Mum: Doctor, she has screw inside her leg is it? Will it affect her in the long run?
P. Chang: High chance, it won't. But if you don't feel comfortable with it, I can take the screw out.
Fatin: NOOO!!! (Oh gosh, enough of operations please)
P. Chang: Haha. The screws shouldn't be a problem.
Fatin: *smiles*

P. Chang: So what sport are you doing now?
Fatin: Umm.. body combat for PE?
P. Chang: Haha! Wow! Okay, i guess you can start fighting people now.
Fatin: Haha alrighto.
P. Chang: Anyway, you can go back to sports now. But for a safe period to start, is 1 and a half years from the day of your operation. That is when the new ligament would fully mature. Just take good care of your leg now. Okay?
Fatin: Alright.
P. Chang: Okay then. You are discharged. If you have any problems with your leg, you can always come back. Okay, see ya. Take Care.
Fatin: Okay, thank you doctor.

Yeap, today is undeniable a day that my heart feels light.
Plus, funny encounters with people.
One of granny's friend thought i was a MAID! Hahaha!

Then, Bambang only realised I wore braces today.
Bambang: Eh you wear braces?
Fatin: I wore it looooooooong time ago.
Bambang: Eh? Alamak. Sorry tak prasan.
Fatin: Haha...

And some shop seller who kinda compliment? Hmm..
SS: Eh, gigi ada bisi eh? Kena pakai brapa lame lagi?
Fatin: Macam satu tahun gitu?
SS: Ohh. Haha, nanti lawa eh. Hahaha! Ok, selamat berbuka.

Hahahah wee!!
Oh well, I'm alreadying missing them.
Seriously.
Looking forward to next 3 weeks. Should be the last time i see them. Sighh.

Econs. Urghh...

Okays, congratulations Fatin.
You just flunk your Econs.

Ms Chong: Fatin, why do you look so sad?
Ratheshan: Cos she knows the day is gonna end and
cannot celebrate my birthday.

Fatin: Noo...I feel sad cos i know I'm gonna get zero
for the test.

Ms Chong: Don't worry Fatin. You won't get zero. I will
give you ONE mark.

Fatin: -.-

Hahaha! Oh yeah, then i remembered there's no such thing as zero in Econs.
But still...

During lunch, I studied Econs.
BUT gave up on Econs after 5 mins reading it.
Anyway, love studying with Awak. Hahaha! They say, two heads are better than one.
TRUE!!

When I thought life could be better, it's not.
Oh well, nobody knows. Shh..

A new start

Let's start afresh shall we?

I hope I'll be back to my senses soon.

Talking bout senses, I think we lost our mind just now. Well basically, Jun Qiang, Serene, Kenneth, Siew Ping, Alvin and me, we kind a stayed back and tried out the props.I just couldn't stop laughing at a few of em.

A rifle, bamboo stick and a phone.
Hmmms?

Iskandar and me
The mafia and the afro

Jun Qiang and me
Hair gone wild

And JQ said I look like Dora the Explorer.
I think Dora looks nicer than me.
We thought we could form a musician band.
I guess not.

Honestly, I miss being me.
Haha. Really.
Can life get any better?
"Seriously, when you are in JC, you got no life. But it would be only for 2 years. Just bare with it."
I couldn't agree more.
